The last year and a half has been difficult for Auntie Ju's as our family lost a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, maintenance man and an all around wonderful, helpful and caring person.

But, after this long hiatus from blogging, we are ready to get back at it!

Since we last talked we have begun to dye wool in-house.  We have beautiful primitive colors as well as brights. Our dyed wool can be purchased as a F16, F8, FQ, Charm pack (10) 5" squares in various textures, 1/2 yard or 1 full yard.

Here is an ongoing Block of the Month using our beautiful brightly colored hand-dyed wools in this 'Summertime Sampler' wall quilt!

It's a 13 month project that you can participate in using either black wool or black flannel for the background, your choice.  You can find the full details here.  I made the sample and it is a really fun project!  I'd have a hard time picking my favorite 8" block. The project finishes at approx. 33" x 42".

And here are two more Blocks of the Month that you can join anytime and have plenty of time to finish, looking far ahead to the 2017 holidays.

We'll talk again soon.  In the meantime, we wish you all a safe and blessed Holiday Season.
